Ms Qinisile Dlamini is a Curation Specialist: Research Data in the eResearch Knowledge Centre of the Human Sciences Research Council. She holds a Master of Commerce (MCom) degree in Economics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She is currently studying towards a Master of Philosophy specialising in Digital Curation at the University of Cape Town. Before joining the HSRC in March 2018, Qinisile was an intern at the Department of Energy where she had administrative and minor research responsibilities. Since joining the HSRC she has gained extensive experience in the curation of quantitative research data. Her areas of interest include Health Economics, with a particular focus on Digital Healthcare and Health Technology Assessment, and writing Data Papers. Outside her professional endeavours, Qinisile likes interior design. This hobby complements her role in data curation ( from receiving the data for curation to data cleaning and archiving). She appreciates the significance of data integrity.
